専門商社 兼松繊維パリ事務所にて、バイイング・コーディネーターとして従事。
日本大手セレクトショップ等に向けてヨーロッパ各地の 展示会でレディース、メンズ、キッズ、アクセサリー、ライフスタイル雑貨の買い付け、 オリジナル、コラボ商品企画を行う 仏メーカーとの独占契約締結、OEM生産、輸出入業務等携わる
2010 パリから東京に拠点を移しOffice Porthault設立
コーディネーターとして始動、仏大手シューズメーカーmellow yellow parisの日本進出Rooms出展、セレクトショップや大手百貨店へ販路を広げるのをかわきりに、仏ライフスタイルブランド ル・ プチルカのプレイタイム東京出展、南フランスメーカーLittle MarcelとPLAZASTYLE(旧ソニープラザ)社の契約締結を手掛ける 各社のJapan Rep (日本担当)の立ち位置で仏メーカーのアウトソーシングを スタートし、現在は日本のアパレルメーカーSarahwearのパリ展示会出展と輸出 販路拡大を担当 又都内コンサルティング会社を通じてアパレル以外の海外業務補佐なども関わる 2020 Office Porthault 改めVCP JAPONとして新たなスタートをきる。東北 鹿児島などの蒸留所と取り組み、中国、アジア、ヨーロッパへとOEM バルクウィスキーの輸出など手掛ける。
Education and Background
Graduated from Rikkyo University, Department of French Literature, and later attended INALCO in Paris.
Completed a business program at the London College of Fashion.
Career Overview
After graduation, began a career in fashion with the Japanese license planning and advertising operations for the French brand CHEVIGNON.
In 2000, moved to the UK and completed the business program at London College of Fashion, then relocated to Paris.
Joined Kanematsu Textile’s Paris office, a specialized trading company, as a buying coordinator.
In this role, managed women’s, men’s, kids’, accessories, and lifestyle product purchasing at trade shows across Europe for major Japanese select shops.
Also involved in original and collaboration product planning, exclusive contracts with French manufacturers, OEM production, and import/export operations.
Entrepreneurship and Current Activities
In 2010, relocated back to Tokyo and founded Office Porthault, starting out as a coordinator.
Supported the Japanese market entry of Mellow Yellow Paris, a major French shoe brand, through exhibiting at Rooms and expanding distribution to select shops and major department stores.
This was followed by:
- Coordinating the Playtime Tokyo exhibition for the French lifestyle brand Le Petit Lucas du Tertre
- Facilitating a contract between Little Marcel (South of France) and PLAZA STYLE (formerly Sony Plaza)
Acted as Japan Representative (Japan Rep) for several French brands, launching outsourcing services for their entry into the Japanese market.
Currently in charge of:
- Managing overseas expansion and exports for the Japanese apparel brand Sarahwear, including exhibition participation in Paris
- Supporting non-apparel international projects through a Tokyo-based consulting firm
In 2020, rebranded the business as VCP JAPON, starting a new chapter focused on:
- Working with a distillery in the Tohoku , Kagoshima region of Japan
- Handling OEM and bulk whisky exports to China, other parts of Asia, and Europe
